Earthgroup Construction and Remodeling Services

Tradional Method: The client retains an architect to perform the design services, and construction is performed by a general contractor.  The design, procurement and construction proceed.

Design / Build: The client contracts with Earthgroup Construction and Remodeling to provide the total design and construction services needed for the project, often called a turn-key project.

Earthgroup will assemble a team of architects, engineers licensed and certified in Illinois, mechanical and electrical contractors to provide the client with a better building experience and final product.  The Design/Build method creates that opportunity by assembling a team at the beginning of the project, rather than splitting the project into segments.

Design / Build / Lease: This service is the same as Design / Build except it offers financing to the client who has the need for a new facility but doesn't have the necessary financing available.  The client can have a new facility without the initial heavy burden of the cost of construction.

Construction Management: A project delivery system that differs from the traditional design-bid-build system by utilizing the services of a construction manager who becomes a member of the team of owner-architect-construction manager.

The manager's role is to coordinate and communicate the entire project process, utulizing his skill and knowledge of construction to clarify cost and time consequences of design decisions as well as their construction feasibility and to manage the bidding, award and construction phases of the project.

Feasibility Study: This service is useful if the client is not exactaly sure of what they need or want.  A feasibility study can determine such factors as market research, new facility and land needs, and preliminary plans and estimates.
